According to the legislation from the Indiana Department of Education, each public school shall provide age-appropriate instruction on child abuse and child sexual abuse to students in kindergarten through grade twelve. This instruction will be happening in the month of November at North Vernon Elementary School. The information on the Fight Child Abuse website will be the basis for instruction in our elementary school.
If you have any questions after reviewing the curriculum or would like your child not to participate, please contact your student’s teacher via ParentSquare, Mrs. Driver (email), or Mrs. Gambrel (email) at 812-346-4903.
